Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program

The Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program is a national, evidence-based program that intentionally engages parents/caregivers and youth-supporting professionals to promote positive experiences, relationships, and environments so that young people can thrive.
Youth Advisory Board (The Healthy Hive)
Youth voice is at the center of the TPP program through our regional youth advisory board, formally known as The Healthy Hive. The Healthy Hive advises Family Health Council of Central PA’s adolescent health prevention programming. Hive members play an active role in program design, implementation, and quality improvement efforts. Input from the hive ensures that FHCCP’s adolescent health programs provide education and services to populations who have been historically marginalized.
Parent/Caregiver Advisory Board (PAB)
The Parent/Caregiver Advisory board also supports FHCCP’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program to review evidence-based sexual health curriculum and supports the development of a multi-media campaign designed to promote awareness of and access to sexual and reproductive health education and services.
The Healthy Hive and Parent/Caregiver Advisory Board are always looking for high-school aged youth and parents of high-school aged youth to share their experiences and perspectives. Email tpp@fhccp.org to learn more.
